Concrete steps at 210 Valley are crumbling and extremely dangerous Full lengths of run of concrete are missing These steps originate at the city sidewalk south of the entrance to 210 Valley street which is a vacant building owned by Avesta Housing The concern is for any unwitting person looking to shortcut down to St John street suffering a terrible fall
Please ask Avesta to address the condition of their steps and their property in general

Four shopping carts at 190 Valley Street The Florence House One had been blocking the sidewalk since Thursday It is now Sunday Additionally, one cart is filling with trash and is almost sure to be pushed out into the neighborhood to collect more trash and add to the blight Please contact Preble Street/Florence House staff or Avesta Housing the property owner to encourage them to clean up their property and stop blocking the sidewalk with their clients discarded items

There have been several reports asking for action relating to the removal of the walk/don't walk signals at Valley and Congress streets
This forum shows those reports as closed yet there has been no change in the status of the signaling at this intersection Please reopen this issue and address the concerns of the pedestrians who feel endangered trying to cross this intersection since the city removed the walk/don't walk signals at this crosswalk
